Summer at it's Best

The best part of picking strawberries might be eating them fresh off the vine. Nina and Billy Jack tried this and loved them more there than they did once they brought them home! Seemed to have lost interest in them once they made it to the fridge....oh well, they'll like the jam.

A Baby's First Smile

I think every mother remembers her baby's first smile. It's a special connection between them that we cherish forever. I think it signifies that first step towards awareness and independence....the breaking of the umbilical cord. I'm glad it's a smile so momma can feel good about her precious one's first act of reaching out into the world. Either that or it's a sly smirk warning her of what's ahead!!! We think back on that innocent smile when age 16 hits. Here is Nicholas' smile.

See our Chair- Grandma's Attic Artist is Greta George

We joined the Chamber of Commerce this summer. See the lind below featuring our adirondack chair painted by our in house artist (my talented neighbor) Greta George. We are the chair # 24 with the black bear and her cubs looking down from Cave Mountain on a unsuspecting camper starting his campfire...and dinner! See more chairs by following this link.

Summer at No Spot Like It

Billy Jack is about to jump of the dock. Of course it's only 2 feet deep (about up to his hips) but he believes in safety first! Life Jacket, Goggles, and if he had his way we would have included the flippers. So Cute.

THE MALLETT BOYS

Charlet posted this picture the boys all together in their first family picture. What a great picture, I hope they don't mind my sharing it too with all my friends and family. Andrew, Benjamin, and Nicholas.
