It is the end of January and a landmark in our village burnt tonite. It made me come home and look at pictures of my family....I came across this one. A little boy, his fishing pole, a calm cool pond...and reflections. This is our "No spot like it". It gave me peace and tranquility, I look forward to summer, new birth of nature and dreams. It helped me look forward to something other than the black mark in the center of our village where a lot of memories were talked about as our volunteer firemen and women worked through the night in frigid, cold, and wet weather.
I prefer to go to sleep tonite thinking of this little boy, fishin and thinkin at "No Spot Like It"
